I used the logo from this forum, which I think suits the v4 theme. I have attached the logo if anyone wants to add this to their screen:
Right Click Save image as and place in the v4 Images directory and rename to logo.png

Maybe this one if I ever open a Cafe. Atleast I will have matching number plates on the vehicles
If you don’t get it, it says “No Roos” as in no kangaroos.
Ha ha I like that John, this thread has now officially turned into show off your login screen, keep them coming.
Works great. Thanks you.
can the logo change in v4?
can i hide or rename the “sambapos3” title name in title bar?
No. You can only add a logo to the login screen.
Now, with 4.1.53, the logo is not working. I have instead of my logo sambapos logo
It’s Ok, i reboot my computer but i see first time like this.
i applied my logo for apple-icon.png but it showed the old one again, and not the new one, i replaced it in “program files=>sambapos4=>images”
yet not tried the main logo to replace with, but apple-icon didn’t work for me
i tested after restarting pc too
Did you name your file “logo”? Think it has to be called logo as that is what samba looks for to display on log in screen
This is the location and the name the file must be called to appear
Place your logo under [MyDocuments]\SambaPOS4\images\logo.png
You cannot replace the icon in the top-left.
Hello, guys,
If I use a restaurant template picture on my server(guest) how can I make it visible to other clients (machines) ? I have done already the connection from my clients to the server, I get the “Connected” status on both of them server+client. I checked the path to the server, it’s shared, so no problems with the permissions.
Also the same question for the Logos (apple-icon, logo)
Thanks
The samba logo/icon on the login screen is local to the client.
By restaurant template you mean a custom entity screen background image?
I imaging that would have to be in a shared folder available to all machines at the same address path \SERVER\IMAGES\TABLEPLAN.JPG for example.
Hello,
Yes I found how, thanks:
Entities-Entity Screens-All Tables-Appearance and in the Background Image field:
Thanks
