I have duplicate inventory items (with slightly different naming). I can’t delete any of them because they exist in end of day record.
I tried deleting the whole recipe pointing to them but nothing changed.
I tried changing the inventory remaining to 0 of that particular item but I still can’t delete it.
Any solution?
Perhaps rename it by adding zzz at the start, which will place it at the bottom of any list. I don’t think you can delete anything that has been used for the sake of database integrity.
You cant delete that as it has been used in a sale that has now been saved to the database. The only way to delete it is to delete the end of day record which will erase all your data for that day.
Simplest thing to do is change the name of it as advised above, unlink it from all reciepes etc so that it doesnt get used
