once i added two new commands into the top of the list and saved and tested…yay i could see that working.
then removed them and saved.

ONE Big Question ?
Now that it is working on the new Server with SambaPOS V5
when I go to the clients site, I need to backup and zip the old SambaPOS V4
then import the zip backup into this new Server… Will This override the fixes we have just sorted out
and transplant the same issues back onto the new server or will it be ok…
Please share your thoughts on this ASAP.

Yes, a full db restore will overwrite the entire database.
Assuming you’ve made changes in v5 that you want to keep after import, you can try the import/export tool.
