Please i have a question that needs urgent attention,
I have a prospective client that has another branch just close to the main branch.
Is there a way i can connect the other branch to the main branch via internet through a public IP address or an other idea?

Via internet would not be recommended, the current core samba program is not designed to work well over internet/WAN. The bottle neck in network speed would cause potential delays/slow down.
If you have line of sight you might be able to link via a point to point wireless. If you can get a good enough bandwidth over it might be possible. Personally I would look at this if line of sight available as may save you money on seccond internet and phone if you used a VoIP phone setup.
Either way there is no branch option in samba so you would be using the same setup and you would have to look at using departments and ticket type for seration which may not be what you expect. Also even if you used a.single database as.per licence terms you would still require two licences.
You can get sales info from both using the Metrik app. But no you can’t connect them like that. Sambapos currently does not support that. Also licensing prevents it. You need one license for each venue.
Ok thanks. I was just looking at the inventory. SO they use same inventory.
Right now the answer is no but I’m sure they are developing branch support for future.
