Create a ticket without assigning it to a customer or table?

Hey Guys,

Just wondering if there is some way to take orders and settle them immediately without having the need to assign them to a table or a customer.

Our little cafe/bar takes a lot of orders that are paid for and delivered immediately at the counter. At this stage we are currently using a table called “takeaway” and settling the bill immediately, however we are thinking of adding an additional tablet and im wondering if there is a way to avoid having this “Takeaway” table and just displaying the bar menu with the ability to settle immediately?

Any ideas?

Thanks.

(I had a look at the pre-made database “Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner/Bar Menu” but from what i can see this requires orders to be assigned to a customer or to a table, having to create a customer for every person that orders would become impossible to work with. Also assigning to a table, can be done but it would be nice if we could avoid the extra tap for the table. Not sure if it is possible though)

Hey guys,

Looking at that pre-made database, i just noticed the “Bar” section down at the bottom (was hidden under my taskbar)

Exactly what i wanted to do, now just reverse engineer to figure out how to do it myself!

Cheers!

Departments > your department set it to create ticket instead of select entity. Log out and back in

Hey Kendash,

Thanks for your constant quick response. You are a huge help!

I had done that playing around and only just realised that it created an additional department on the bottom menu.

Thanks for your quick response (as always)!

You don’t have to create a new one. You can just use restaurant if you want. Or rename it to whatever you want. But setting it to create ticket does what you want.
