I’m rather new to Samba and this is my first post because all of you have been so helpful in creating a vast online guide for this program. So I want to thank you all for you contributions to the forums. I’m hoping you guys can help me with a custom report… an area where I am rather lost.
So my restaurant has 4 different rooms that we call; King’s Inn, Napoli, Kitchen and Crown Room. I have these set up as departments, entity screens and ticket types.
I also have 5 main Product Tags that we use; Beer, Draught, Liquor, Food and Pizza.
I was wondering if someone could help me created a custom report that would list each of the Product Tags for each Department or Entity Screen or Ticket Type. I’m assuming it would be easiest to list it under Ticket Type because as right now I am able to break down the total sales and tax into the different Ticket Types in my reports.

I think I’m calling it properly. When I go to Edit a Product, it is listed under Tag on the line below the product name. Not the Group Code that is listed beside the product name.
As of now, I have created a report that lists the overall sales per Product Tag but I haven’t been able to break each Ticket Type down by Product Tag
Do you want to list sales by Product tags? We have a report under work period report that lists sales by Product Group. Do you want something like that?

It will be better if you can show us what you need as an excel sheet or something similar that can help us to understand your need.
