Is SambaPOS is open Source? If yes then how can it customize? Sould I make changes in that system?
V4 onwards is no longer opensource.
Believe this is due to intergration of closed source codes for new features added.
What were you needing to customize?
IS there any plugin mechanism available with which I can add my custom screens/Forms/processes?
BTW I am programmer and looking to use SambaPOS with additional functionality and customization for my client as per their requirement. If its not open source what would be the costing where I can do a customization.
What Forms, Processes, and Screens are you referring too? Can you give us more information?
Not 100% decided yet. I am still working with my client on this. But want to explore customization possibility with SambaPOS.
Also interested to be a distributer of the system in my local area.
It may not be Open Source anymore but honestly you can configure just about everything so much so there is really no need to be open source. If you can give us idea of what you would like to see we can help you decide if its possible or not.
