Hi I have use sambapos4 for a short while.I will like to know how to deal with damaged (wastage) recipe item(s).in order to have the correct number of items in the store.

Typically you would use End of Day records to record inventory. It will not track a wastage account but it will fix your inventory numbers. To record actual wastage dollars you need to build some automation and there are several ways to do it.

I do not have a system built for that and do not have interest to build one. You can search the forum though it’s been discussed many times.
