Data base conecction issue

The system is working all day without problem in the morning next day in the screen appear the banner that said that the "can’t connect to data base with current setting you can check and modify……. them I just do an computer restart and after this everything is working again. This problem is for the computer fire-word or something else?

I belive because can’t see the error because everything in working good al day close the work period at the end of the day and leave the computer on just press the bottom on monitor to turn off the screen the computer is set to on all the time the problem is next day when I turn on the monitor the string screen is there… is like during inactivity hours samba disconnect from the data base I don’t know…

What’s supposed to be the problem if after I do an re-start the computer all working as normal again?

As asked are you using SQL? Check in services and see if SQL service is running. If service stops a restart would also restart SQL if had stopped.

Are you running a server and a terminal(s) or just the 1 computer doing everything?

You can configure SQL Server Agent to restart the SQL Server and SQL Server Agent services automatically if they stop unexpectedly

  1. Open the SQL Server Management Studio Management folder, right-click the SQL Server Agent entry, and select Properties.
  2. On the General page, select the Auto Restart SQL Server If It Stops Unexpectedly check box.
  3. Here, you should also select the Auto Restart SQL Server Agent If It Stops Unexpectedly check box.
  4. Click OK.

This happen to me when windows is updated then in the morning I need to restart a SQL server again.

Makes sense because is the new computer and doing a few update already do you thing that is good idea turn or the windows update?

No you shouldn’t turn off Windows update. Just keep eye on it.

If I leave windows update on, every time have an update

It won’t happen everyday. There are not updates every day. Most of the time it won’t happen. It’s rare. Just show them how to restart SQL server. it takes 2 seconds. Or set it so it restarts itself.
