DATABASE problem

Hi everyone! I’ve copied database from server and put it to another, and when i’am triyng using samba i got a problem

What does this say, below? Did you change any Transaction Types or Document Types recently?

Its saying it tried to insert a NULL value into a column but could not. So why was it trying to insert a NULL value? It also said NULL Column values are prohibited so it interupted the process. So I agree with @QMcKay it looks like you modified something with Transactions either Transaction Types or Document Types.

So that is problem… Ive made a full backup and then renewed it on a new server instance but nothing works fine, also when iam triyng to start a day the same problem is

Ok so give us more information. What kind of Database is it? SQL Express, LocalDB? How did you do the backup and restore? Also I noticed its 4.1.54 maybe you should upgrade to latest version a lot of issues were fixed between 4.1.54 and 4.1.82 including several database improvements.

You made zero changes to the working database on the other machine and then you copied it to new machine? The other machine is running just fine?

Answering these questions will help us help you more accurately.

Sql 2012, thru exporting and importing features, tried but it doesnt want to work “check database version” problem, no i cant use anymore main server, everything i got these copy of database and a new server

If you are getting Check Database Version message, then re-install SambaPOS so that it can upgrade the DB.

Note as well, that you cannot install an older version of SambaPOS over a newer version of DB - that is, there is no way to “downgrade” the DB.

Did you use the import tool to import rules etc or did you actually backup database and recover it?
