# Date Functionality

Hi guys!  
I’m having a little trouble getting the dates I want in the report. I’m using the {Start} and {End} tags in my script. Am I correct in guessing that these are only for work period? Can I use the text boxes in the upper right to select the dates I want in my report?. If so how do I do that?

`{Start}` and `{End}` tags will work for selected date range too.

Hmm, maybe I’m doing something wrong. When I type in a date in the range box it will change but only to a work period date.

make sure u did the start and end working period. if let say 24th october u didn’t end work period, the report is unable to show on the 24th. i had problem with this also
