Entity type will not close

I have a entity with one item. Its used to import the order reference number and order total so that it can be shown in the end of day sales. This relates to orders from third party ordering system, which prints orders independently and payments comes via bacs. The whole idea was to add it to daily sales as and when these orders are placed.

Now when ever I try and close the order with the reference number as the tag and a price as the order total. It does not close unless i cancel this item.

I have scratched my head for months trying to take a break and figure out something simple blocking my from being able to close it.

Someone offer me any suggestions please.

Ticket needs an entity or a defined tag to close.
However the closing is a configurable automation config.
Without seeing some of your setup it will be hard to diagnose.

We wont be able to offer you any good advice until we can see your setup. You could have a ticket closing event or something else that is not allowing ticket close but we wont know that unless you share it with us.
