Fast Menu causing samba to crash with 2 different errors

Hello All,

I followed the 4.2.1. guide on creating a fast menu set up.

I followed all the steps, the menu worked fine once, then all of a sudden, the menu side of the ticket screen appeared blank the software started crashing and gave me 2 different error codes. Now this happens everytime I create a ticket.

These are the 2 ticket types for restaurant and take out:
ticket2

ticket1

You need to copy the detailed report here so we can see what the issue is

Think the reason no menus are showing is because you haven’t got the menus defined in the two ticket type settings you’ve shown above

Where it says POS menu in both ticket types you need to click and select the default menu you want to load when that ticket type is used and then save it

Try that and see if that fixes your issue

The issue with that is now I have 4 different menu’s, and I don’t know which to set. Hence why I left it blank.

Try putting in the default menu under each department.

Which default menu folder?

Main Menu -> Manage -> Settings -> Departments. There is an option to set the Default Menu on each department.

Is the database on the machine your working on or on another computer?

Ive done that, the same issue still occurs.

And its on the machine Im working on.

How many terminals are connected?

Only the one Im using

By terminal, you mean machine right?

Yes.

I did a search on the form for “The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel”
I didn’t find any useful results…at least none with answers.

Did you set this up yourself or did someone else set it up?

This is my own doing unfortunately.

Don’t worry, that’s good to know. That means we are looking at something simple…or mis-configured.

This post might be of some help:

The last post is from Emre (the main developer of SambaPOS), he mentions about the system trying to display registration notification popup.

What version of samba are you using?

Ive been through that, still happened. Then I cleared the database and seem to fix the issue for now.

Im using Version 5.2.26

Try updating to the latest version
