GIFT order tag to remove price

Is there a way to have an order tag reduce the price of something by 100%?

For example (the scenario)

Customer has a party at a soft play, child receives a voucher for the child and 3 friends to come next time.

Child comes back, the till operator taps in that 4 x Over 2’s - we not want to use an order tag to reduce the price by 100% as appose to use the GIFT button so that it can be tracked.

You can track gift button use. By default it puts order state to gift. You can build reports to report on that state.
