Nizam kindly checked it out for me, and the issue was that I did not have
- MSSQL 2008 or above version of SQL Server
installed. I had thought that the SQL express 2014 was enough, but it was not.
Localdb does not work with it. You probabaly had localdb 2014

Hi All,
I am getting the exact same error when running Sambain.exe as shown in the initial screen shot. I have SQL 2017 Express edition installed. Is that why I encounter the error? Should I install a different version?
I installed SSMS18, my samba pro v5 is activated and gloriafoods integration is purchased. I followed all the steps as per the sambapos - gloriafoods integration document, but still getting this error.

The above issue is resolved. I had installed SampaPOS on a new computer and restored a previous Database backup on this machine. I asumed all the settings will be restored as well. however the database Settings in LocalSettings->Database were not copied over. After setting them, the SambaIN worked correctly.

Local settings are not stored in the database. They are local to that terminal and typically stored in text files in documents and hidden folders.
