Half/Half pizza count and quantity

Currently I have pizza count set using Action and Rules where every Order from Pizza Group adds 1 to pizza count.

However I have set half pizzas as different portion size in product list.

Therefore half pizza also have 1 quantity which adds to the pizza count.

Due to this setup both workperiod report and customer pizza count shows incorrectly. where half/half pizza is shown as 2.

Please give me suggestions as to how to correctly show the quantity and count for workperiod report and pizza count.

If you setup all your full pizzas under a group code ‘full’ and half pizzas under a group code ‘half’ you can then setup another rule for adding pizza count for half pizzas and set is as 0.5 then add constraints to both rules so they only work if group code is full or half depending on which rule your amending

All pizzas have 2 portion; full and half. i do not think its practical to have pizza products repeated in the product list with different group codes.

And also it does not solve the quantity in the work period report.

have you setup your receipes correctly for each one?

since i am not managing inventory, i am not using recipes also.

Portion does not always matches quantities equally so in your case half pizza (or slice pizza) might be a separate product. Like Hamburger > Doubleburger.

In our case, a customer orders 1 pizza, 1/2 beef and 1/2 chicken for example. how can i make the setup for this scenario with workperiod and pizza count showing as 1.

Use order tags with prefixes for halves. You setup the Pizza count correct? So just set one up differently so it calculates correctly how you want.

We distribute half and half pizza in a single pizza box. and is counted as 1 pizza. please let me know a possible solution for this. i want to show correct quantity of pizza in the workperiod report.
