How do I compare dates in a report?

Dear Friends,

Greetings!

How do I compare date in a $1 variable to T.Date.

Here is my report:

[Daily Sales: 1.4, 1]
@{REPORT TICKET DETAILS:T.Date.asc, T.TotalAmount.sum:(TS.Status=Paid):{0}:,} 
>Date|Inv Total
$1|{REPORT TICKET DETAILS:T.TotalAmount.sum:T.Date=$1}

My actual report has many more columns, but the main issue I am facing is in date comparison.

I am not getting any output on TotalAmount

Please do help me, if you know how to do this.
