How do i create an inventory item and link to sales screen?

Hi all!

How do i create an inventory item so that when i make sales it automatically subtracts from the system? I want to be able to recieve stock, automatically subtract when i make a sale and return stock when i do a void.

You use the invemtory system and map inventory items to products.
The Decrease Inventory option on update order is what defines whether it effects inventory items.
