Backup Module is an Add On Module for SambaPOS. You can install it through SambaMarket.
When you install Database Backup Module it will add Database Backups link to Management > Settings section.

Since we don’t have any backups yet the main screen is empty.

Click Backup Database button to create your first backup.

You should see backup details on the list. New backups will appear on top of the list.
You can select a backup on the list and click Restore Dat…

I’ve been trying to figure out the best way to import/export databases between my development SQL instance and my production SQL instance for a few days and I think I found my preferred method.
Here’s my step by step for transferring my entire database from one machine to another:
