The difference on V4 is you’ll track inventory through Warehouse screen instead of End of Day Records.
That will track Purchases, but in order to track Sales (Consumption), you need to define a Recipe for each Product…

I tried several time about the same topic but it didn’t work
Hello @shreekanth
We do not have to start a new thread. Lets continue this discussion from your previous thread so we can help you better. I moved your new post here.
We can not read your mind to know what issue your having. Can you please share with us the trouble your having?
@shreekanth please use the same thread for your questions if it is the same issue. It will confuse us and you will not get good answers if you keep making new threads without good clear explanation. What is your issue?
First are you selling it by the Can, bottle, or is it a fountain?
Please read this carefully it tells you exactly how to set it up.
What type of unit is Nos? and Piece? I have never heard of a drink purchased by the Piece.
Drinks are usually served by the Can, Bottle, Cup, Glass and typically bought by the Case or Per Bottle.
Base Unit is the smallest unit of the item and Transaction Unit is the unit we generally use. For example: Pepsi is sold by the Can or Bottle but we purchase it by the Case. So you would set Base Unit to Can or Bottle and Transaction Unit to Case.
Multiplier would be how many in each case you purchase from supplier. Or if you set it to 1 you can track it by your base unit if the base unit is what you sell it as in your recipe.
Sir this thread used only for preparation of food item with consumption .
Here my question. How to maintain balance sheet only for cool drinks bottles we are selling bottles only
@shreekanth there is no difference for cold drinks. You’ll create inventory items and map them with your products with recipes.
