How to save Tickets Module customizations?

Does anyone know how to make the changes to the Tickets Module save? As soon as I navigate off of that screen, either by clicking the Display button on a ticket or by using the Main Menu button at the bottom of the screen, all changes are lost.

I can upload screen shots if needed. Thanks in advance for any help.

If you are talking about the default Ticket Explorer, you can save your layout changes this way.

  • open Ticket Explorer
  • make your changes (i.e add/remove columns, change column sort-order, re-arrange columns, etc)
  • Logout (go to Main Menu and click the logout button)
  • Exit SambaPOS

Restart SambaPOS and open the Ticket Explorer - your changes should have been saved.

The same applies to saving layout changes for a Ticket Explorer Widget on a Custom Entity Screen, with only 1 difference: You must give the Widget a unique Name in the Widget Properties.

Thanks that worked.
I still don’t like the lack of options to customize that screen.
I think I’ll try to get my ticket listers working.
