How to sort an Entity Grid

Is there any way to specify how an entity grid would be sorted?

Well I wanted to sort it by an Entity custom field data. In my case I want the customer grid to be alphabetical by name, however the primary field of my entity is an ID and I wanted to sort it by the custom field CName

Is there a sort parameter in the properties if you make a custom/layout screen with an entity grid widget? Not saying there is but not at PCs, have you looked?

I had this problem, and I managed to get around it some way I cant remember…

I think it was setting the Primary Field Name in the entity settings?

Setup sorting by clicking column headers and immediately shutdown & restart SambaPOS to save changes.
