I personally would love to read the tutorials on something that don’t have to be online on a forum as I am always on the move, plus the screen of the phone is quite small. I feel many of the members will run into the same issue like mine.
When enough tutorials are gathered, we can actually make a manual for the V5 for beginners to have a better understanding of the system before asking.
There is a wiki that has most of the information covered and there are including myself a few others who are actively making a user manual but as there are soon many things to cover it takes a long time to put one together. But it is a work in progress
The problem with anything like that is samba develops and improves so much it would quickly become outdated.
Which is why forum works so well and topics are updated as questions ask and setups grow.
Agreed, Samba is moving so fast and could easily overwhelm the older text and in fact older users.
Nevertheless, the think-process of beginners, rookies, and veterans are different. Beginners are more adapt to tutorials or direct narration text in a book style and Q&A forum is more suitable for someone who already has (at least some) experience so that the participants in a forum format can ask and answer the questions with proper answers or educated guesses.
