# Is v4 or v5 able to use under win xp?

hi there trying use samba pos, however i try download v4 with an issue is blocking when trying to install .net4.5 frame from microsoft. im using win xp

No you cant use xp youll need to upgrade. Youd be best of upgrading anyway as xp is no longer supported and net 4.5 isnt compatible with xp

20 years from now we will be on Windows 70 and people will still have xp and complain it won’t work.

Which latest version is compatible for win XP? Could you tell me please.

Last version that would run on XP was v3.0.35 which you can get from here:

V4 and V5 require .NET 4.5 which is not compatible with XP.
