there any way to separate the impressions among users, for example
I have installed sambapos on a pc with windows sever 2008 (use terminal server), the point is this:
on the server, I have installed 2 printers and consequently I have 2 pc connected to the server, I need that when a cashier (let’s call cashier 1) print something (sales, ticket, etc), print in the designated printer for her and not in the printer set for cashier 2
You can map your Print Jobs to Terminals or User Roles in Manage > Automation > Rules.
Look for the Print Job you want to map to a specific Terminal or Role.
Clone the Print Job, but in the clone, switch the Job to use the “other” Printer.
Clone the Action for the Print Job.
Clone the Rule for the Print Job.
In each of your Rules, use the Mapping tab to limit which Terminal or Role will be effective for the Rule.
What part is not working? Is it printing at all? Is it sending wrong printer? Can you provide some screenshots of your Print JObs for each printer and your rule that handles the print job with the action expanded inside the rule so we can see it? Provide the Action for your print job as well.
Sorry I took so long to respond, but he was giving priority to other problems presented by the system. did not work because I was assigning bad mapping to the terminals, but really appreciate your help.
