hi
i have 1 server with database on most of the week ,2 terminals pointed to server that we turn off at end of the night .ver 4 latest .
i did search forum module activation ,and results i found is as follows
To fix activation on new database you need to.
Clear License Keys on sambamarket.com > My Products.
Login to SambaPOS > Market.
Click Activate button.
i did above steps on my server on my server , but the terminals keep popping up with activation message ,at the terminal i log in to terminal and go to samba market at top right i click on log in i log in to account and click on activate i do this at both terminals ,and it goes away . next day it is back again ,so i have to do this at each terminal daily .
i read the forum not sure if i am misiing something i did this on server and did not fix my problem

i have custom report ,database backup ,database tool .
You shouldnt have to do on all terminals, only one as licence is per database so if they are all on one database it should only need to be done on one machine… Just my 2 pence worth
thats what i thought so when i cleared it on website i activated the server , but terminals keep buging me which is odd they are pointed to server if not i would not have proper daily reports etc so i think something is off
Can you show screen shots of that setting from all your terminals including server, thats what Q was asking for i think so we can visually see the actual screen with the setting just to see there is no mistakes before thinking about the next step to help
Not sure if instance is case sensitive or not but you have SAMBAPOS4 on server and sambapos4 on tills.
Is the data corect over all 3?
The tills are both similar but is the server running on a seperate database within the SQL instance?
Looking at databases via management studio who’ll show if multiple databases.
i will try releasing the license and activating again tonight on server and keep an eye on it this weekend .it sounds like everything is correct so it should take
yes i am using latest one . so yesterday night i cleared the activation at samba market web site ,then from server on loged in and activated all 4 modules . this morning both pos have activation notice on them
terminal one database tool + database back up
terminal 2 database tool + database back up +custom report
so loged in at each terminal and activated them .lets see if it happens again
no i have not changed database and i have not loaded backup ,the pos went live april 1st since no backup etc or changes made everything works great but this activation notice.
Kendash if i understand correct after releasing license u want me to activate license on terminals first and then the server ?
