Not sure if it is possible, but I have 4 different restaurants and I would like to be able to take my laptop to one business connect to the database and update the inventory. I would then like to go to another restaurant connect to that database and be able to update the inventory.
Would this involve setting up Sambapos on 4 different occasions and have 4 different instances on SQL? Any assistance would be appreciated.
You would need 4 setups yes. But your laptop can be configured with rules and actions to easily switch between them by auto switching connection strings.

If every restaurant have a local server with the same connection string than I don’t think he needs to set up rules to change connection strings. He just needs to connect to local wifi and use the same connection string.
Am I right?
