Need help with single user set up for Samba V4

Hi Guys, I have tried to find answers on forum before hassaling you but not getting anywhere. We want to use Samba POS V4 for Windows XP touch screen. Need a step by step guide for single user set up and menu config. Does the computer where single user POS is installed needs to be connected to internet all times?

V4 will not work on XP.
Needs .net 4.5 which is windows 7 upwards.

Unfortunately SambaPOS3 was the last version that supported windows xp. I understand some people still hang on to windows xp to try and save costs but you must realize that windows xp is antiquated and Microsoft them self stopped support for it. At some point you should consider upgrading if you want to use latest technology or software.

Thanks Kendash, If I upgrade MS XP POS Ready 2009 to Windows 7, would it work for single user?

Yes it can install on win 7

Thanks for your quick response. Do I need the POS computer connected to internet? Can I use the single user Samba POS V4 offline?

You can use either offline v5 only needs to be activated once after that you don’t need Internet.
