I just installed 4.1.82 and SQL express from the downloads area. Do I need to also manually add the connection of the software to the database or is this already done during the install?
Start SambaPOS and enter your connection string here:
Yours will look slightly different than mine because I am using a Test version of SambaPOS you will not see the Edit Connection button or the Apply button but the connection string should be entered similar to how I entered mine.
Data Source=<server name>\<instance name>;
The Database= is optional I do that so I can easily swap between test databases.
