New to programming and sambaPOS

I am new to programming and i am following an internship where i have to work with sampaPOS. So they said to download sambapos v3 because its open source. But I dont really know how to properly open it up and start coding for it in visual studio 2015. I tried to open the source code but it didnt want to run as there were 95 errors and 25 warnings.

Help would be appreciated!

Sorry there wont be much help here this forum is for V4 (which doesnt have any more updates) and V5. Most people here have never even seen or used V3

The V3 forum is at sambapos.org, try there and see if theres anyone that can help

Is your internship teaching you how to code? If so I would think the first step would be to teach how to start a project.
