NumberPad as qty or price?

I tested the NumberPad and wanted to use it as the qty input. I found out that with any menu items that have the price, it took the NumberPad as the qty so no issue here.

What I found strange is that with an item without price (I know this is not the right setup), NumberPad input is becoming the price and the qty is 1.

This might lead to error if we forgot to set the price.

This behaviour is intentional. It’s called open priced items, or Misc items. Items that are rare or specials of the day.

A quick check in the Price List Editor will show missing prices.

may i know how do i use the numberpad to set the quantity of zero priced items?
