Portions Column count

Hi Samba’s team,

I’m asked if we can customize the portions column layout per each product. I’ve found that in Program Settings
there is an option to specify a value different from the default 5. But it’s applied to all the products.

Can you help me with it?

You can’t do it for specific products, only the setting that you know about already that affects portions on all products.

You could use an alternative solution, like using Ask Question with {PORTION BUTTONS} to popup and ask for the portion. This is an old tutorial for V4 but still works in V5, best I could find as it has the step by step instructions to set it up. You can do more customisation with Ask Question in V5 like changing colour of the buttons, formatting, etc., that you can find many examples of on the forum.

I’ve created a printer template tag that returns portion buttons for an order.
