Printer Problem Terminals

Hello Team,

Here is my setup

  1. I have a Server with the Thermal Printer Connected
  2. I have a Terminal without a printer. [The terminal is nothing but a computer and remotely connects to the server DB]

Whenever user is doing a settle button or print bill in the terminal, i want to print it in the Server and also for Kitchen Printing. In short, whatever i have printer configured in the server, it should be printed there.

Do i need to install the printer driver in each terminal and configure ?

If the terminals have a standalone installation then you need to share the printer on the server and then add the printer to each terminal (assuming they are running win7 or above) if they are connecting via RDP then you don’t need to install the printer.
