I have a sharp up x500 till with epson tm88 and cash drawer connected. The cash drawer is connected direct to the til and not the printer. I am unable to gett the drawer to open. any help aprreciated. (os win xp pro)
Your unlikely to get much response as this forum is for v4 and soon to be released v5.
I have wondered this myself in the past but would imagine you would setup a generic text printer on that port and print code to that port printer,
HOWEVER if you have a tm88 why not connect the drawer to the printer as can tell you exactly how that works
