When I search for a name “ADA” Samba does not find it…
as soon as I search for the address of ADA…

Ive noticed when I try to search items in my menu screen if I have caps locks on it does not search, but when it is off it does. Maybe the case with your issue as well
I typed Ada, so in this case no CAPS lock…

try searching again with all lower case letters. I think the capital letter might throw off the search function

What is the Primary Field for the Entity?
I think it need more than 3 characters to narrow it down. It may match too many records. “ada” match tada adam xxadaxx too.
