You can however use cards and customer accounts etc. An msr reader would work. You may be able to program a hookpoint using the integration option Emre provided when we were messing with CC card integration. That might work but its reliant on payment process.
I wish emre somehow gave us the GQL ability only to at least ticket tag an active ticket terminal. I understand why he doesnāt though. Weāll have to work around it.

Was a popup in response to broadcast message to initiate the entity update not possible?
On broadcast message i tried to run action to update entity and it does not work.
@JTRTech broadcast message will not trigger any actions if a ticket is open neither will triggers this is by intention.
Would it not trigger a popup? Im sure my PMS setup broadcasts any error messages to all tills into a popup messageā¦ but never confirmed if it happens in an open ticket.
If popup could be triggered a resulting press of the pupup could surely update open ticket.
If a ticket is open triggers or broadcast message events will not work.
