Separate Dine in work period report

Hi i want to know how to custom report for dine in like total sale for dine in i want to do this in work period and i have rename all tables to dine in.

What tables are called is irelevent.
You would just need to constraint your report to something.
Takeout/dine in would often be set with a ticket type or a ticket tag by most. Then either of these can be reported on

then for every order we have to select order tag so is there any possibility that auto order tag get select

TICKET TAG not order tag

oops sorry sir ticket tag

Yes… Ticket tag not order tag so you don’t select for every order you set it to ask on ticket start or close or whatever you want. Once per ticket.

i did that sir but i am having problem wit that already i have delivery and take away ticket tag when i am selecting ask option then its not opening table

That means nothing to anyone without knowing your setup…
Please explain the automation flow and ideally show supporting screenshots.

Hi sir see this gif file the actual problem what i have after creating ticket tag

What’s delivery 1 2 3 etc?
Surly it should be only one or the other;
Dine in
Takeaway
Delivery
So you wouldn’t have 3 separate tag types you would have a single tag for say Order Type for which the options are dine in, takeaway or delivery?
You don’t want to be able to sellect more than one of the three options surely?

Delivery takeaway i have given simple option sir trust me this customer is making me crazy i have purchase license for him otherwise i culd have said him sir bye bye lol

sir i have done one more option i created fast button for dine in can we make something of tht in work period report

What’s a fast button?
But if you have to select takeaway or delivery on ticket creation what are they going to do? Select takeaway and then select delivery?
You say you have bought licence for this customer? Suggests your a reseller? But your asking allot of questions for pretty basic stuff?

take away and delivery i made for him for reports only n it comes iin report dine fast button i made sir see the picture in this i have dine in can we do report through this button

I see dine in on ticket mapping (left column) and on under ticket (at bottom).
I really don’t understand you messy setup. Why so many entity screens?
You have your delivery and takeaway tags set to ask on ticket creation so this means what?
You select dine in screen and select a table, at which point you are asked if it’s takeaway or delivery and cave to close that and then press a dine in button to tag ticket???
No woundering this ‘customer’ is pestering you, that flow is just odd.
If your using select entity as default ticket creation you don’t need to tag ticket anyway… You have to select a table so can just report on tickets with table entity selected.

His client wants SambaPOS to be a different POS one that he used in the past. Instead of trying to embrace SambaPOS because its superior he would rather turn it into an inferior cluttered mess. I would never work with a client like that. There is a point where you need to guide a customer if you know what they want is not realistic or is detrimental to the system running smoothly.

While I see that in some questions and understand some of the questions but get the impression it’s pretty thrown together in fustration. Beyond the odd shortcut.

so what is the option sir just to show total dine in sale in work period report seprately

@sam2 I mean this in a friendly way it is probably a language barrier but you do not have to say sir constantly.

jesse sir for every person i say sir i feel good and thanks for this

You have many options to seperate dine in and take away and delivery. You can do separate departments, or you can use ticket tags and look up https://kb.sambapos.com/en/cat/reports/ for how to use reports. You can also use States but I would recommend either Ticket Tags or Departments.

Whichever method you choose will work but I highly suggest you read https://kb.sambapos.com/en/cat/reports/ to understand how to build reports. Not everyone here wants to spend the time to build a custom report for someone that they may never use themself.
