Is there any way of having a sound play on each keypress. Sometimes there is a delay between keypress and item registering and the waiter presses a couple of times on the item.
Using a touch screen is same as a mouse so windows mouse click would be where you would set sound.
Most touch screen drivers have a click sound option also.
