SQL Instance question (does not start automatically)

Now, after having bought two new computers, succesfully installing everything on them again, i am facing a small issue with SQL server.
first of all, sorry to have been so absent but after the robbery I was complicated doing paperwork for the police and finding two affordable computers to work with…

SQL instance works great… if I start it mannually. If I reboot my pc it does not start, even thoe start up is AUTOMATIC in both services and SQL instance.

I asume that this is not an user and password problem since manually it starts.

I have restored the database from another sql instance (previuos computer) wich had different paths, different names… could taht be a problem?

Are you using SQL 2008 or 2012?

2012, now the strange think is that, in a reboot sql started and sambamessageserver that always started did not… i will have to look a little bit closer to what is going on there…

Does SQL Express and Message Server have the same Ports set ? ie 8080, 8383

I really dont know, I did not set up sql ports, knowing that it changes port, so I just openend firewall, and message server is on 8080…
