Just wondering if it is possible to switch between sambapos and a external program on windows at all? We are using sambapos for point of sale but need to be able to switch over to a different pos software for gambling related sales.

You can take samba out of full screen by double clicking the logo in top left while logged in as admin. You can add a suffix to the shortcut used to start samba to open into non full screen also.
Depending on the app you may be able to use start process to call the exe for that app.
Question also needs asking about returning to samba if your other POS runs full screen…
What was the reason for needing second POS?
Second pos is for our gaming system (Keno) to print tickets off.
