Hello,
I am a new user of SAMBA POS and I have found it very nice. Is there any way I can split the Tables as sometimes it happens people sitting on the same table require two/three different bills each his/hers for payments? Also is there any way I can merge two or more tables for billing and payment?
Thanks in advance.
This is covered under following:
Let’s say two people will share 17,28 ticket. First one will pay 7,28 and the other one will pay 10.

If first customer that will pay 7,28 gives $10 you can type 7,28 + Split + 10 buttons and see the Change Amount.

Typing next amount, clicking (x) or [All] button will hide change amount display and you can continue operation. For example clicking [All] + Credit Card buttons at that point means remaining amount paid with CC.
As you know SambaPOS does not permits merging tickets if a ticket contains a calculation. As 4.1.22 release it will permit merging tickets in some cases. You don’t need to enable a setting to activate this but I wanted to let you know in what cases SambaPOS will permit merging.
If all rate based calculations have same rate amount SambaPOS will merge tickets. For example if all tickets have %10 service amount you can merge tickets.
If tickets contains rounding calculation SambaPOS will merge ti…
we can split a ticket. but can we split a table. let say there is a big table 10. on this table two different customers come and sit. how will take two orders on same table and settle two different payments?
thanks
