So how did it display the split?
Would you really want a 10$ product displayed on a print as say 5$?
Next you have people saying they were overcharged when they see they ‘paid’ 10 for same thing!

I’ve seen several ways to do this. Cake allows it even and it says split on the item. I think we can do it but it will require some advanced automation.

Ideally it will show a split state and say 1/3 or 1/5 depending on how many splits you did. This probably won’t work for inventory though. On second thought it might but will require some thinking.

With this system we are not worried at all about having it keep up with inventory. They do not use that now and will not.

Here is how it looks and works in RPE. To me this is a what a “split” button should do and mean.

That’s very ugly and clunky. But I get what your saying splitting items is a nice feature. I’ll look at it this weekend.
