V4 to V5 upgrade path

Hi,

I am planning to spend the next few weeks working with SambaPos for my wife’s Bistro. The more I see of its capabilities the more I want to get stuck in.

I have read the V5 is due for release in June’ish. But I need to have my solution ready by June for the summer rush

Are my efforts going to be wasted or will V5 include an upgrade path…which I am sure it will but want to check :wink:

The upgrade from V4 to V5 should be fairly seemless. There may be a few configuration changes that you will need to implement, but they will be minor.

They will not be wasted. The basic functionality has not changed. Many new features have been added.
