You have a ticket lister widget setup wrong somewhere. Its sayimg a value cannot be null for it.

format:

[LAYOUT]
<T>{TICKET TAG:Ticket Type} Ticket
<L00>Date:{TICKET DATE}
<L00>Time:{TICKET TIME}
<L00>Customer:{ENTITY NAME:Customer}
<L00>Table:{ENTITY NAME:Customer Number}
<L00>Ticket No:{TICKET NO}
<L00>Ticket Type:{TICKET TAG:Ticket Type}
<F>-
<F>-
{ORDERS}

[ORDERS]
<L00>- {QUANTITY} {NAME}
{ORDER TAGS}

[ORDERS:Void]
<J00>- {QUANTITY} {NAME}|**Void**
{ORDER TAGS}

[ORDER TAGS]
-- Format for order tags
<L00>     * {ORDER TAG NAME}

Thats the only ticket lister widget im using.

Anybody have any ideas where this is coming from? ive gone through the settings of the widget and I dont see anything that is showing as null that would cause this…

That probably happens if you click on display ticket button while it refreshing / updating the ticket lister. I added something to prevent this for next update. (.61)

So not sure if this helps but i finally got some feedback from the user that this keeps happening to. They said that when they select a ticket from the widget screen and choose display ticket thats when the error value cannot be null pops up. It can happen a few times in a row.

Is there a way to create a refresh ticket list button for now to keep the errors from happening so that I can have the user manually refresh the ticket lister widget and not have that error occur?

How do you refresh ticket lister atm? When message server setup correctly lister should refresh automatically without additional refreshing setup.

Currently I have the ticket Lister widget auto refresh every minute… But I guess when the user selects a ticket and clicks the display ticket button when that auto refresh happens he gets that error. Was just wondering if there was a work around to have a manual way to refresh to keep that error from happening till the fix is released.

So your not using message server to refresh? You shouldn’t need to set the auto refresh interval.

im using the message server yes… but i have the auto refresh on the ticket lister checked should i just uncheck this?

Leave Auto Refresh CHECKED.

Set the Interval to 0 … then it will refresh based on events generated by the message server.

Ill give that a shot… I had it set to 0 before and it seemed to still cause issues… come to think of it i think i changed the auto refresh interval because when i had it set to 0 i was having an issues with scrolling when there were multiple tickets. Scrolling seemed to stick every time it refreshed to I increased this and it then allowed me to scroll. Just some strange quirks with the ticket lister.
