I am using same model everywhere. And if it can print a long name on Kitchen Ticket and then it shoud also print on Bill. I think there is ony problem with template code of ticket.
You do have more data on the receipt template line for order…
How name characters is Item Tag:Unit?
Also what’s the difference between price and RS.Price?
What is you charector count for the printers?
If you think about it logically if it’s 40 and take from this for each letter of
-, tag/multiplier, name and price and don’t forget spaces…
Should 18 letter product name fit?
The reason of it is the <J00> tag. As you don’t use prices in kitchen print it works fine but on bills it cuts product name to fit price.
@emre you can check in my kitchen template i print the price too
Yes but you done have the | of the justified tag… on the actual print it should mean the (Rs.{PRICE} is printed inline rather than aligned right like on the receipt print.
This will mean the receipt will always show price on the right and trim the product name once it goes as far as the price where the kitchen printer will push the price further over as the product name gets longer.
Sorry yes you have price but you don’t have | char before price. That makes the difference.
