7shifts Integration Time Clock and Sales

Ahh Wait.

IF that’s the rule, then its no wonder i couldnt find it LOL.

The naming convention of this one is different to all the other rules and actions you named haha.

I can confirm this rules is there also

Oh sorry Yes I need to clean it up. I built it all on a whim and fast. I needed it in my restaurant.

To be honest I need to make it a config task. I could automate the time offset and other things.

Haha all good.

I thought I saw it before, but then it went past me.

Until i saw your screenshot.

Now just a waiting game lol.

Quick question though.

If a user wants to use a basic inbuilt time clock, the one you posted in your tutorial is good enough to use yeah?

It works just fine but reporting is limited atm. You cant get a weekly total. I have seen a few odd quirks with it too but its rare.

I still struggle with this and actually uploading the task into Github to push too lol.
Can’t seem to figure it out

Its not just github its gist.github.com Maybe I can explain that later.

Can see mine at https://gist.github.com/kendash

EDIT: Mine are old though and almost not relevant anymore. I need to update and put some new ones.

Interesting… Yes I think I need to go back through those Github posts regarding Config tasks.

Also I just tested something… I got an interesting result. See below

I’ve always wanted to do something like that so that whenever I need to download all the modules i need to install on a system, I could call upon the URL to download it.

7shifts has paid for itself easily for me. I dont use the free version because I like the features. I save a TON of money because of sales forecasting and I love seeing the weather on my scheduler as well as the managers log. I record stuff in it every night and I can look back on it later.

I will write a step by step for it… in fact I think I did already somewhere I just dont remember what post.

Yes it seems very intuitive and cool to use it.

Im sure if I can get the implementation correct, we could use this method with future clients,

The iphone/android app they have is great. The managers version of it is really handy. I shared a screenshot of it with you earlier. Can see real time labor % and whos clocked in etc. Can send announcements to employees on it, can adjust punches, even do schedules on it.

Yep I saw.

It was a really cool app. Very informative and powerful

The one feature I wish they would add is the ability to see if an employee has viewed their schedule or not.

If you had the ability push their schedules via your own email provider, you can set it up so it shows when they viewed it. If only…

Maybe one day haha

I think they will add it. A couple other apps I used had it but 7shifts was overall a better choice for me. IT just worked better and my employees preferred it.
