Please increase the size of [dbo].[ScreenMenuItems].[OrderTags] to support more characters

@QMcKay I think that issue is specific to your database. In old V3 versions default string length was 128 chars but now it is 4000. I think you can safely increase it on your database with SQL.

Ok, I’ll close this “issue”.

So I assume then, that new version installs do not necessarily do a full DB update/upgrade. I really don’t want to start over with entering Products, Order Tags, Menus, Automation, etc. I’ll try to Alter the Table in the DB.

I also have some other strange things from versions past, like Order Tag Templates which no longer exist, and check this out…

ALTER TABLE ScreenMenuItems ALTER COLUMN OrderTags nvarchar(4000)

Yes old constraints still active to keep your rules working. You can Create same rule with new Custom Constraints feature and delete old ones. While increasing Version Number to V5 we’ll entirely disable old constraints section.

We’ve only disabled Order Tag Templates. We can re-eanble it for better set menu features but didn’t made our final decision.
