Auto Kitchen Print on Close for New Orders

i wanna modify the POS so that when I click Close after punching an order, the system automatically prints the bill to the kitchen only if there are new (unsubmitted) orders on the ticket?

  • If the ticket already has all orders submitted and I just close it, nothing should print.
  • If I add something new to an existing ticket and then press Close, only the new items should print to the kitchen.

Everything you describe there is the default setup. Only new orders will print to kitchen by default.

If it does not work like this, then you have modified the default settings.

Did you setup SambaPOS yourself, or was it done by a reseller? Are you modifying someone else’s setup or you created this setup by yourself from scratch?

EDIT: I am assuming from what you say that right now it is printing to kitchen with all orders every time you press Close? Or if the case that nothing is printing, then that will be a different issue and likely because you didn’t setup the printer?
