Some days the supervisors forget to do an End of Period/Start of Period, this causes accounting and stock issues
is there a way that it can be scheduled?

It in theory could be done but IS NOT recommended.
What if a ticket has been left open? Period couldn’t close anyway.

If they didn’t lock up on their was out they would be in trouble, not cashing up to me is almost as bad.
You can use a feature called Virtual Work Periods. However it works slightly differently so please read all the info about it first. You still need to manually end work period to save them to database but not necessary to do it every day.

I use virtual WP and only time I manually stop wp is to do the stock take. It works very well.
