Backup Error Message

Your database is not really that big. I think there may be something else.

You could but it would be just a bandaid. Reach out to support and see how they can help.

This is probably the issue, but how much extra space do you have on the drive that is hosting the backups?

As Bob_be said, check the location of the backup and make sure it is accessible and have enough space. Try to change the backup location setting in SambaPos to a local disk drive (not a network/mapped drive) with enough space and try again.

Thinking back a couple of years… wasn’t there some sort of replication issue in one of the database versions? I feel like it was adding either multiple or bogus SQL entries causing the DB to grow quickly in some scenarios. Could that be the case here? I tried a search for the original posts but came up empty.

A long shot I’m sure but I thought it deserved a mention.

That was resolved with a version update, which one I do not remember, it really sounds like the disk he is saving the backup too may not have enough space.
